I currently keep the car in my climate controlled garage in Florida. The car rides on its original factory ordered Porsche 18” staggered “Technology” wheels also known as hollow spokes. When I purchased the car it had added brand new Pirelli P-Zero performance tires. The German leather seats are in amazing shape and show little ware. Everything works well in the car and the AC is ice cold. The speakers are new Rockford Fosgate HiFi units and sound great with the upgraded CD player. 1984 porsche 911 carrera 3. 2 targa. This 911 has some miles about 219k and somechange but this car runs, drives, brakes and handles great, it is a truetestament to the build quality of these 911s. The story goes that this 911 wasbought new in san diego and then came to new mexico in the late 80s. In 1992 itwas purchased by ron with 32,000 miles. Ron worked at sandia laboratories and heused this 911 as his daily transportation. Ron was an engineer at the sandialabs and enjoyed tinkering with his 911 but he was not much of a record keeper. He just fixed what needed fixing and drove the heck out of it. The clutch wasreplaced at about 180,000 miles and the tires only have about 1500 miles onthem. This 911 does need some love, the seats are tired, the headliner on thetarga is sagging, the dash is nice and all the gauges work as they should. Theblinker stalk does not let the headlamps stay in the low beam selection. The a/cis not hooked up, ron says he usually had the top off anyway. The body of thecar is extremely nice considering the miles, it does have a lot of rock chipsalong the nose and one small dent on the drivers front fender, which i tried toshow in the last picture. There are 2 small door dings on the passenger side butother than that this car is super straight. This is a perfect 911 to drive andslowly redo or just drive it and have fun with it.
